one of the most important sources of food for a widow is her own garden. every free area is sown and planted. to encourage it to thrive, a lot of praying and hard work is done. whether it's cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots or cabbage, it is eaten fresh and prepared for the winter. a good harvest can provide a good living and the sale of the surplus on the vegetable market can provide a livelihood.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, this project has received special support. In order for widows to be able to plant their gardens with fruit and vegetables in the spring, over 100 widows were financially supported last year. We would like to help widows this spring by purchasing seeds of various vegetables.
